Experts agree, cannabis is a powerful tool against the opioid epidemic. Yet another reason why Pot-Heads cannot be classified as drug addicts. Marijuana is not a drug its more of an anti-drug, a cure all for todays issues.
Publication after publication, the evidence is mounting. Marijuana legalization is quickly proving to be the cure for societies drug problems.
Marijuana “Now” Preferred by Physicians
Prescription pain killers have been over prescribed by physicians through out the US. As a results, we now face a drug epidemic rivaling that of the 80’s Crack problem.
The only difference this time around is the Drug-Pushers aren’t lurking in dark alleys, they walk around in lab coats.
The doctor gets a kick back from big-pharma for every prescription they write. It’s a dirty little secret in the pharmaceutical industry and its totally legal.
But, because the opioid issue has grow to such an extent, doctors are being locked up.
Today, socially and morally concision doctors have realized the importance cannabis as a non-addictive pain killer.
Study Show Legal Weed Reduces Deaths Due to Opioid Overdose
Even thought there have been several studies proving this, conflicting reports still exist.
A study was originally put out stating a drop in opioid deaths in Colorado after the legalization of recreational marijuana. Since then, there has been an onslaught of reports contradicting the facts. The final verdict has yet to be published.
Chances are very likely that this is nothing more than propaganda. Another attempt to push the BS “Gateway drug” theory.
Since cannabis has never been linked to addiction or death, why not claim that it can lead to drugs that lead to death/addiction. I never bought into that theory and never will.
Legal States Have Seen a Drop in Opioid Use
States that have legalized medical and recreational marijuana have seen a sharp drop in opioid use. As far as I can see, this is an undisputed fact.
The price of legal marijuana is way lower than opioid based pain killers. It doesn’t matter if you have insurance and get it through your doctor, or through a dealer.
Legal weed is cheap and abandonment, making it a great choice for pain therapy, treatment and even as an antibiotic.
Lets Look at the Facts
Physicians are starting to realize the dangers of opioid, physicians are prescribing marijuana more, legal states have seen a drop in Opioid use,..
But somehow theres a spike in opioid overdoses in Colorado?
Something doesn’t add up? How can any one say marijuana is a gateway drug thats causing the opioid epidemic. It just doesn’t make sense.
So how can we explain the conflicting reports? Easy, old school anti legalization propaganda, 1940’s style.
Chances are it wont work today. We are smarter and more critical of the medical/pharmaceutical agencies today.
For good reason!
