Cannabis legalization is becoming a big issue in the White House.
It seems that President Trump and his lackey Jeff Sessions are at odds when it comes to legalization.
Attorney General Jeff Session recently took it upon him self to personally ask Congress for the funds needed to prosecute legal states.
This is a big deal especially when you consider the total amount of states that have legalized cannabis.
Sure, recreational cannabis is only legal in a few states. If that was the case, Jeff might have a chance.
But, thats not good enough.
His attack on cannabis includes any states that prescribe medical as well as recreational weed.
There are about 29 states right now that have pass medical marijuana laws.
Trump, doesn’t see any issue with this.
Trump seems to be in-line with the majority of America and his party.
Over 60 percent of republicans don’t see an issue with states taking control of there drug laws.
While more than 70 percent of Americans agree that cannabis should be legal.
Jeff Sessions on the other hand, wants to use your money to start a new drug war.
By taking federal tax dollars to fund laws that allow the feds to prosecute states.
If a states local government does not comply with federal law. The FBI will step in, shutting down legal shops, growers as well as locking up patients.
Sessions sites false claims that link the opioid epidemic to marijuana.
When its already know and well documented that the opposite is true.
Here is a PDF of a report conducted by RAND, proving legalized states have seen a drop in opioid abuse!
Let’s face it, it’s time to get Sessions out of office. Sign this petition
